Whatever your racing ambitions, this arrive and drive experience is loads of fun. Novice or expert, we think you're going to love this fast and furious session racing against the clock around a specially-designed track. Start off with a safety briefing then go straight out onto the 450 or 475 metre long (depending on venue) circuit track with a 12 foot high second level and a 150 foot bridge. The emphasis is very much on developing and improving your driving skills, with computerised timing encouraging your efforts all the way. Go ahead and release your inner racing driver!

Get your young competitive spirit going with yacht racing - combining the freedom of the open water with the thrill of racing and the satisfaction of hands-on involvement. You'll be on board a modern Sigma 8 metre keelboat which is a really good, manoeuvrable boat. First you'll meet your instructor and fellow crew members where you will get kitted out, then head out to the yachts for a safety briefing. Training includes hoisting sails, helming and practising the most efficient methods of manoeuvring the yacht. Next off you'll be briefed on the rules of the race which takes place on a floating 'race track'. And it's all hands on deck for that - you'll participate fully in crewing the yacht during the race, putting into action everything that you've learned so far. Afterwards (tired but happy we predict), you'll return to the clubhouse for race results and signing off the logbooks (for those who have been bitten by the bug and want to take their sailing a little further).

With the benefit of qualified instructors and specialist sailing boats (excellent for learning on the safe enclosed lagoon) at your disposal, progression is likely to be swift. You will learn how to safely navigate your dinghy around a buoyed course to bring in balance, sail set and steer, capsize recovery and gain some important general safety awareness of other water users. A trip to Diggerland guarantees a fun filled, exciting and action packed day out for kids and adults of all ages. Children (and adults if they wish) have the opportunity to ride in and drive different types of construction machinery including Dumper Trucks, Mini Diggers and Giant Diggers (all under strict supervision). There are great opportunities to take photos or learn about the workings of the machines from the fully trained instructors constantly on hand. Diggerland is a day out with a difference: not only can families learn about how these diggers work, they can actually drive them too!

This is great way to try out acting and learn all about the theatre at one of the most successful shows in the world. First of all, before the day, you'll be sent a synopsis of the show on CD (read by Sir Ian McKellan) so that you're familiar with the story. The big day starts off with a fantastic three-hour kids' workshop. This includes a backstage tour of the theatre and a drama workshop based on improvisational games that will bring out your inner star. The workshop ends which a re-enactment of a scene from the show, using real costumes and props, plus a chance to quiz a real member of the Les Mis cast and a certificate to take home. A packed lunch with a sandwich, crisps, apple and juice is included (sorry but special dietary needs can't be catered for, so bring your own lunch if you prefer). Then in the afternoon, you'll watch a matinee performance of the hit musical.

In these days of touchy-feely fairness, it's not often you get to unleash your ruthless side. Give the kids a rare opportunity to beat their parents at something (you know who you are, competitive mums and dads!) during an evening of fast and furious karting. It's how a lot of top F1 drivers (including Jenson Button and current world champion Lewis Hamilton) first got into racing before they were lured away by the big bucks. The experience begins with a full safety briefing followed by a 15 minute practice session. After a break to get your breath back, you'll hit the track for another 15 minute driving session. A lap time report at the end tells you how well you've both driven and who has ended up with the highest overall score. In the spirit of good family relations, you can show there are no hard feelings by joining in a rousing chorus of 'We Are The Champions' on the way home!

With a friend, you can get up close and personal with some of nature's magnificent and regal birds of prey. You'll both learn all about the art of falconry and have a chance to try it for yourselves. You'll find out lots about the birds and will be given plenty of time to experience falconry first-hand. Getting really close to different species like this, you will learn what makes a hawk a hawk, a falcon a falcon and an owl an owl. Then you'll get expert tuition in the art of falconry and have time to handle the birds yourselves so that you get comfortable with them and they can get comfortable with you. Next try it out for real as you'll fly some of the birds, watching them show off their skills. It's an amazing opportunity to see these dramatic birds up close and watch their spellbinding flight - and there can't be many thrills to match the experience of a real bird of prey coming in to land on your glove. Two grown ups are welcome to join you for free on your day.

Wind tunnels have been used for years to test the aerodynamics of cars. Then some bright spark came up with the idea of flipping one upright and jumping into the airflow - and body flying was born. The wind tunnel is a 120mph wall of air, easily strong enough to support your weight, so that you can experience freefall without the need to jump out of a plane. You'll both start off with a safety briefing from your instructor before being kitted out with your specialist flight suit. Then step into the wind tunnel with your instructor, where you'll both be lifted into the air for two incredible 60 second sessions of body flying (as a comparison, during a skydive from 10,000 feet, you would experience around 30 seconds of freefall). If you're lucky, your instructor will jump on the flow and show you some astonishing freefall acrobatics. Your flying session will end with a debrief and you'll even get a DVD of your flights to take home.
