On this experience you'll tackle some challenging terrain in one of the following king of the road vehicles - a Land Rover Defender, a Discovery or a Range Rover Sport. You'll start with a thorough safety briefing and a welcome tea or coffee before your instructor shows you around your vehicle, explaining the impressive capabilities of these 4x4s. Then get behind the wheel yourself to conquer the muddy climbs, drops and hazards of an exhilarating off-road course, in stunning surroundings. Most venues have excellent facilities, including disabled access, catering, toilets, shelter and parking. A simple lunch is included, this exciting experience is bound to give you an appetite.

You'll end up tired, saddle sore and covered in mud. You'll also learn loads of new skills and have an exhilarating adventure over a brilliant rough terrain course. Sound like fun? This experience is specially designed for family groups and don't worry if you've never tried mountain biking before - you're in safe hands. The aim of the day is to get all of you totally comfortable over rough terrain and the focus of the coaching will be around developing balancing skills, effective braking, descending without fear and ascending without pushing (oh yes - there are going to be a lot of hills involved!). You can also get coaching on navigation and bike maintenance. You'll be kitted out with a helmet (whether you don tight-fitting lycra is up to you). By the end of the day you'll probably be aching in muscles you never knew you had, but you'll have had loads of fun and you'll know why mountain biking is one of the country's fastest-growing sports.

For sheer thrills look no further than this jam-packed rally session. Your experience will include at least two high speed sessions with you at the wheel and an instructor in the passenger seat showing you all the moves enabling you to make the most of your time in the car. You will then have competitive laps against the clock to find out how good you really are, plus an exhilarating passenger ride with a professional in the driving seat! Your six cars will be a range of classic and modern sports cars and will be chosen from these nine stunning marques; Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lotus, TVR, Jaguar, Audi, HMC, Porsche and Morgan. The experience begins with registration and coffee followed by a briefing and issue of your suggested routes and time schedules. Then in teams of two, search for clues in a fun treasure hunt through the picturesque Hertfordshire countryside, swapping cars at locations en-route (you will alternate between driving and navigating throughout the day). It is not a race and consequently you will not need to break the speed limit to reach your destinations! So just relax and enjoy cruising on the open road in true style. Lunch and refreshments are included.

Lord about in a Land Rover, crack off a few shots with your 12 bore shotgun and dine opulently; this experience is a perfect chance to see how the other half live. Start your day with coffee, tea and bacon rolls, then receive a safety briefing and get teamed up before moving onto the action. Escorted by your highly trained instructor, your team will try the first of the activities available throughout the day, be that clay shooting on the fully equipped range, driving an open shell two-seater dune buggy, a spot of archery or getting back to nature driving a 4x4. Have a go at each of the four pursuits in turn during your memorable day in the wild. Sit down together and discuss who was best at what as all participants enjoy fine dining in the All Seasons restaurant where you will be sufficiently pampered with a four-course gourmet meal, before heading back out for some more japery. Conclude the experience at The Lodge with drinks at the bar and superb homemade cakes.

Experience the glamorous world of international espionage by indulging the fantasy with this great day playing at secret agents. After a full briefing learn some of the skills employed by secret agents all over the world, head to the firing ranges and learn how to shoot automatic pistols and sniper rifles. Then move onto axe throwing (for goodness' sake don't try this at home), unarmed combat and covert surveillance, using cameras and bugs. Then try evasive driving - including J turns, handbrake turns and anti-ambush drills. Finish off at the 'drive in' pistol range, firing at targets from a moving vehicle, before screeching to a halt, jumping out of the car for more shooting and then speeding off. Throughout the day you'll be supervised by instructors who have first-hand experience of carrying out surveillance operations. Please be aware that no live ammunition or weapons are used in any of the activities, in order to fully comply with current legislation.
