Not for the faint hearted the day is designed to build your confidence starting with a 30mph zip line. Abseil 150ft down the face of steel. Take the plunge with the world's newest extreme experience the 150ft Parachute Simulator, as you feel the rush of gravity and fall rapidly to the floor the fan system kicks in and you float to a soft landing. Lastly but by no means least comes the worlds only indoor bungee jump. With your few remaining nerves you climb the 143 steps to the top and bungee jump 150ft into the abyss. You will be enveloped in semi darkness with spotlights whirling around the breathtaking structure, music pumping out, dry ice filling the air and 7 huge video screens projecting the jump. First of all, before the day, you'll be sent a synopsis of the show on CD (read by Sir Ian McKellan) so that you're familiar with the story. The big day starts off with a fantastic three-hour kids' workshop - no adults allowed! This includes a backstage tour of the theatre and a drama workshop based on improvisational games that will bring out your inner star. The workshop ends which a re-enactment of a scene from the show, using real costumes and props, plus a chance to quiz a real member of the Les Mis cast and a certificate to take home. A packed lunch with a sandwich, crisps, apple and juice is included (sorry but special dietary needs can't be catered for, so bring your own lunch if you prefer). Meanwhile mum or dad can enjoy some free time in London, returning to the theatre in time for both of you to watch a matinee performance of the hit musical.

You will begin with a briefing from a qualified instructor who'll talk you through racing lines, techniques and how to best handle the car out on the track. Then you'll be driven around the circuit in a hot hatch for two demo laps before putting the theory into practice in the superb Audi R8. Controlling a skid is a useful skill, and this experience teaches you all about it both as a fun day out, and as something you might need to use on the road one day. You'll start with a safety briefing and a discussion on the cause and cures of different kinds of skids. Then you'll use techniques that simulate loss of car control, with the vehicle seeming to get away from you. Skidpan driving focuses on both avoidance and recovery, and you'll learn the skills of driving on ice, aquaplaning and skid avoidance exercises with friendly and expert instructors, who'll always keep their head even if you're a bit spooked. Courses are held either on an oil-like surface or using a computerised skid frame (looks like stabilisers on your bike, only they're not very stabilising). Some courses also include time trials to test your new skills.

This experience offers the perfect day of pampering set in the wonderful surroundings of Brooklands retreat and spa, a Victorian manor house in the heart of Lancashire countryside. Get up close and personal with some of nature's magnificent and regal birds of prey. You'll learn all about the art of falconry and have a chance to try it for yourself. You'll spend a full day at the falconry centre, finding out all about the birds and getting plenty of time to experience falconry first hand. You'll start with a tour of the centre, where you'll get up close to different species and learn what makes a hawk a hawk, a falcon a falcon and an owl an owl. Then you'll get expert tuition in the art of falconry and have time to handle the birds so that you get comfortable with them and they can get comfortable with you. Next it's time to try out falconry for real - you'll fly some of the birds over open countryside, watching them show off their skills and getting some thrills medieval-style when a top predator comes into land on your glove.
