Wet & Wild
We know that spending an hour in a tank of water might sound at first like a David Blaine-style stunt - but in fact this experience is about total relaxation. Each of you will enter your own quiet, darkened room and lie in a tank in a warm solution of Epsom salts, about 10 inches deep and so dense that you'll float effortlessly (no need to be able to swim!). Epsom salts are made from naturally occurring minerals and have long been renowned for their health and beauty benefits, including easing stress and soothing muscles. Gentle music will play to help you wind down, and you'll drift into a near-meditative state of complete calm. Afterwards you can take a refreshing shower before returning to the outside world feeling utterly chilled out.

Get your binoculars out and prepare yourself for this unique perspective of London with an amphibious tour around the sights of the capital. These fascinating DUKWS vehicles were originally used in World War Two and the Korean War, transporting troops and cargo across the waters straight onto the land - exactly what you'll be doing! Famous sights you'll see include Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and The Ritz. Your guide will give you an entertaining commentary, providing an alternative view of London's history, as well as including some fascinating facts and figures about the DUKW (known as Duck) vehicle. Then after passing The Tate Gallery, you'll dive into the Thames and swim up and down the river, before climbing up onto the streets of London towards Lambeth Palace and back to your starting point near the famous London Eye.

One thing is guaranteed of this experience - there is no way you'll hear the all too familiar whinge from the back seat of 'Are we there yet?' Quite the opposite in fact, as this family off-road adventure will be filled with fun, excitement and maybe even a few stomach-churning moments for you and your two passengers. Begin with an in-car safety briefing before a demonstration lap with your instructor driving (by your side every step of the way to educate and encourage). Then take the wheel of the Land Rover Defender, which will do everything you ask of it, and more. Silverstone's challenging purpose-built off-road course combines steep gradients, big drops and deep water, demanding your full attention as you navigate a tricky obstacle course. You might be going slower than walking pace at times, but precision handling and rock solid nerves are definitely required. Your experience concludes with a debrief after the three of you stumble out of the vehicle onto terra firma.

Rediscover your sense of adventure - and what it's like to be soaked to the skin! Canyoning is a truly all-round adventure experience, following a natural water course through a precipitous canyon. To start off with you'll have a safety briefing with your instructor and get kitted out with the right equipment. Then after a short walk to the top of the beautiful Allt' a Bhealaich Gorge, you'll follow the natural water course down through the gorge, descending waterfalls, sliding down natural water flumes, scrambling down gorges and jumping into deep, clear rock pools. In some sections you'll use harnesses and ropes to get down, all safely controlled by your instructor. This is a challenging, exciting and very physical experience and you might get a few bumps along the way, but there's a path running along the length of the canyon, so no part of the descent is compulsory - you can always take the path instead.

Wakeboarding: a sport so cool, lots of people have yet to learn about it. In fact it's the fastest growing watersport in the country. It's like a cross between water-skiing, snowboarding and surfing (it used to be called skurfing, but that sounded silly). You're pulled across the water by hanging onto a cable, but unlike water-skiing you're attached to a single wide board and it's also a bit slower. So it's perfect for anyone who wants to try a new sport and doesn't mind getting very wet indeed. After a full safety briefing, you'll be on the water and round the cable. You'll start off knee-boarding, which will help you get to grips with the basics and put the theory into practice. The tricky bit is taking corners, but once you've got the hang of that you'll be up on your feet and whizzing around on your wakeboard in no time, experiencing the adrenaline rush of flying across the water. Not even the occasional dunking will wipe the smile off your face.

Get your competitive spirit going with close yacht racing - combining the freedom of the open water with the thrill of racing and the satisfaction of hands-on involvement. You'll be on board a modern Sigma 8 metre high-performance manoeuverable keelboat. First you'll meet your instructor and the crew, before heading to the yachts for a safety briefing. Training includes hoisting sails, helming, practising the most efficient methods of manoeuvring the yacht and learning how to keelhaul landlubbers (or maybe not). Then you'll be briefed on the rules of the race, which takes place on a floating 'race track'. And it's all hands on deck - you'll participate fully in crewing the yacht during the race, putting into action everything that you've learned and pitting you against the competition and the elements. Afterwards you'll retire to the clubhouse for results, and you're welcome to go for a well earned drink with the instructor and crew in one of the local bars afterwards.

Enjoy life on the ocean wave with an introduction to three fun-packed watersports activities. First up it's dinghy sailing and the chance to helm your own boat. With expert instruction you will be off in a matter of minutes and whether you plan to glide across the water or crash through ocean swells, you'll have great fun in these little boats. If you managed not to capsize in those, then move on to getting wet! After a quick lesson on the dry land simulator, go out on the windsurfers, combining style with speed as you race across the water (or combining chaos with flailing limbs as you fall in ungracefully!). After lunch move onto the kayaks. These are great fun and you'll be powering across the water in no time at all.

If the cobwebs have been gathering while you've been getting on with the nine-to-five, we guarantee that speeding round the south coast in a powerboat will blow them all away! It's wet, it's windy, and it's much more fun than the gym. The Honda Formula 4-Stroke championship is the most exciting offshore powerboat series in the world - these boats are responsive, manoeuvrable and so fast that they fly over the surface. You'll start off with a safety briefing and an introduction to the boat, then it's time to get changed into your safety gear and racing team kit. You'll head out onto Southampton water with an expert driver, usually a current or veteran racer, who'll put the boat through her paces while you hang on tight. You'll get tuition in how to handle the boat, and then about 15 minutes hands-on driving (at the skipper's discretion). The boat operates within Southampton Water and, weather permitting, out onto the Solent.

Get ready for some thrilling white water action - with this experience you'll be shooting the churning rapids and jumping the falls in... well, in a duckie. It sounds a bit wet (in more ways than one), but duckies are great fun - they're small inflatable open rafts, holding just three people, so you're closer to the action than in regular white water rafts. Your two-hour session will begin with a safety briefing and instruction on handling the duckie, then you'll head out onto the river. There'll be three people in each duckie, including the instructor, as you head off down the river and hit the rapids. The white water grading system goes from one (gentle) to six (too rough to offer commercially) - this centre is graded between one and three, meaning that it's great fun for beginners but still offers some real thrills and challenges. We're confident that you'll take to this like a duckie to water...
